This is an excerpt from my piano performance recital at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Performing June: Barcarolle (G minor) from The Seasons (Tchaikovsky) Instructor: Dr. Yakov Kasman
My most recent works are a collection of recordings produced for use in broadcast advertising, corporate, and theatrical settings. The styles range from symphonic/orchestral to acoustic/pop and everything in between. Licensing for these tracks are available exclusively through AudioJungle.net
You can sample my portfolio and license music here: shanescottmusic. A complete catalogue of my instrumental works will be available to download through iTunes / Amazon.com soon. Stay tuned.
Out of necessity I created a guide for mixing orchestral / symphonic music. Some producers may not be familiar with how an orchestra typically sets up and where in the mix an instrument needs to be panned.
Of course there are no rules for how a conductor may arrange his orchestra but this is pretty standard on the concert stage and a quick reference for how to pan orchestral instruments. Hope someone finds this useful. Download Shane Scott’s Stereo Panning Reference Guide for Orchestra:
